WE JOINED SGPILATES GENTLE MAT CLASS OVER 2 YEARS AGO. WE HADNT DONE EXERCISE CLASSES BEFORE UNTIL THEN. SUE WAS VERY WELCOMING AND ENCOURAGING, KEEPING US MOTIVATED AND MOVING THROUGH THE PANADEMIC ON ZOOM HAS BEEN A GODSEND. PILATES HAS HELPED WITH OUR MOVEMENT AND POSTURE AND ME CATHY HAS NOT HAD ANYBACK PAIN ISSUES SINCE I HAVE BEEN TAKING PART IN PILATES. PILATES IS JUST MY WEEKLY ROUTINE NOW, AND I HOPE TO CONTINUE FOR AS LONG AS I CAN. A BIG THANK YOU TO SUE AND  I WOULD ALWAYS RECOMMEND TO PEOLPE , PILATES HAS CHANGED OUR HEALTH AND WELLNESS.

A FREIND RECOMMENDED ME TO TRY SUES PILATES GENTLE MAT CLASS BECAUSE SHE HERSELF WAS FEELING THE BENEFITS AFTER HER HIP OPERATION. I WAS VERY APREHENSIVE ST FIRST BUT WAS IMMEDIAETLY PUT AT EASE BY SUES CALMING REASURRING NATURE AND THE FRIENDLY CLASS. SUE ENCOURAGES THE GROUP TO GO AT OUR OWN PACE AND THERE IS NO PRESSURE BECAUSE EVERYONES NEEDS ARE DIFFERENT. I NEVER FEEL AWKWARD OR EMBARRASED AND SUE ALWAYS MODIFIES ANY EXERCISES TO FIT PEOLPES REQUIREMENTS. EVEN AFTER MY FIRST FEW SESSIONS A KNEE PROBLEM THAT I HAD SUFFERED WITH FOR YEARS GREATLY IMPROVED. AFTER A FEW WEEKS AND SPEAKING TO SUE ABOUT MY HUSBAND WHO SUFFERS WITH LONG-TERM POLYMYALGIA SUE SUGGESTED HE CAME ALONG TO TRY A SESSION. HE FOUND THE GENTLE STRETCHING REALLY BENEFICIAL NEEDLESS TO SAY HE HAS CONTINUED WITH HIS WEEKLY SESSION. SUE ALSO MAINTAINED OUR CLASSES THROUGHOUT LOCKDOWN OF WHICH WE WAS VERY GRATEFUL FOR THE ZOOM LIIVES AND ON DEMAND CLASSES SENT VIA EMAIL. WE WOULD RECOMEND HER CLASSES TO EVERYIONE .

I WAS SUFFERING FROM LOWER BACK PAIN AND WENT TO SEE A PHYSIOTHERAPIST. AS I WAS A CYCLIST HE SUGGESTED PILATES AS A GOOD COMPLIMENT TO MY CYCLING AND PILATES WOULD HELP WITH MY BACK AND ALSO MY POSTURE. SUES CLASSES HAVE REALLY MADE A BIG DIFFERENCE AND MY BACK IS SO MUCH BETTER AND IM SO MUCH AWARE NOW OF CORRECTING MY POSTURE. PILATES IS A WEEKLY COMMITMENT NOW AND I WOULDNT BE WITHOUT IT!

 ME AND MY HUSBAND HAVE BEEN ATTENDING CHAIR PILATES FOR A FEW YEARS NOW AND WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE SUES CLASSES. SHE MAKE THEM FUN AND ENJOYABLE AND WE NEVER REALISED HOW MUCH WE COULD DO SEATED. THEY ARE CHALLNEGING CLASSES AND WE ALWAYS WALK OUT FEELING GREAT. OUR MOBILTY AND STRENGTH HAS REALLY IMPROVED AND WE ALSO HAVE NOTICED HOW MUCH OUR BALANCE HAS IMPROVED FROM USING THE CHAIR FOR SUPPORT. THE GROUP ARE SO FRIENDLY AND SUE ENTHUSIASM AND PASSION IS INFECTIUOS!

As a regular runner who has run many marathons i would not be without Pilates . Pilates gives me the strength and mobilty and flexabilty to compliment my running. I have been practising pilates for about 8 years and the last 4 years they have been with SUE. Sue has a great understanding of what a runner needs as she herself has run marathons . Sue,s pilates sessions are always very imformative , challenging and fun. The results are amazing , i feel better stronger and more mobile after each class. I practise pilates at least twice a week and the results are not just physical, my mind and body have a great sense of calmness. I will never be without  pilates the unique set of exercises have such benefits for everyone if you have never tried pilates it is a must !

I HAVE BEEN DOING PILATES CLASSES WITH SUE FOR NEARLY FOUR YEARS. I JOINED TO HELP WITH MY LONG TERM BACK INJURY, WHICH IS NOW SO MUCH BETTER AND STRONGER. PILATES AHS ALSO REALLY HELPED WITH MY GOLF SWING TOO!

SUE IS A BRILLIANT TEACHER BRINGING VARIETY AND ENJOYMENT TO THE CLASSESS BUT SHE REALLY CARES ABOUT EVERYONE IN HER CLASSES.. SHE HAS DEVELOPED ME FROM A COMPLETE NOVICE TO A PILATES NUT!I LOVE IT!

 

THE ADDED BENEFIT WHICH I DIDNT EXPECT IS BEING PART OF A FANTASTIC GROUP OF FRIENDLY PEOPLE. I,VE MADE SOME REALLY LOVELY FRIENDS ALONG THE WAY.

PILATES HAS MADE A HUGE DIFFERENCE TO MY MIND AND MY BODY. THERE ARE LOTS OF CLASSES OUT THER BUT THE ONLY PERSON I WOULD RECOMMEND IS SUE AT SGPILATES.
