ABOUT ME

Founded by advanced female personal trainer, PILATES Mat and Reformer instructor Sue Giltnane, SG Pilates offers a wide range of health and wellness Training.

Sue Giltnane is a complete Pilates addict  and Pilates is her happy place !

Her passion with Pilates has grown over the last 12 years now!

"It originally started when i had hip pain when running and my consultant recommended that i find a different form of exercise to do along my running to build strength in my hip. So i found a Pilates class. I knew straight away that the benefits would be life changing for me. Within a month or so my hip problems improved and within a few months they had pretty much gone altogether. Pilates does not work miracles, but it comes pretty close!

My teaching style is dynamic , fun and always varied"

Sue can help you in many ways wether your looking to move and feel better, tone and strengthen,and build muscle, increase your stamina and fitness and help prepare you for a specific sports event. Pilates with SUE will sculpt your arms tone your thighs, cinch your waist , draw your tummy in and lengthen a new you. Not only is Pilates with Sue great to tone your body, it is great from your back, hips , and knees etc, but its great for your posture , mind , strength , flexability , balance, body awareness, muscle tone and joint mobility. its also a great form of exercise to do along side other sports to reduce the risk of injury. Sue also loves how Pilates can be adapted to the individual with modifications to suit all.

Sue is very well known with many local physios , chiropractioners and osteopaths and have worked closely with these professionals to help clients with specific injuries rehab.  

 

​SG MATWORK PILATES sessions are available for 1-1 2-1 or mini groups,  is available for cooperate  local sessions. Sue teaches weekly gentle Pilates classes, beginners to intermediate and advanced classes.All Sues workouts are challenging, motivating and consistently getting results. Sue is also very  passionate about health, fitness and nutrition and have a wealth of experience working with a diverse range of clients of varying abilities and requirements, enabling them to reach their goals in a fun and challenging environment.

​​Sue is an experienced and highly qualified fitness professional, specialising in Pilates Mat and Pilates Reformer.

​

Sue is An experienced club and events runner, Sue's passions include Pilates, combat , weights, walking, running and netball and she regularly competes in national events ranging from 5K fun runs through to full marathons.

​

Using a diverse range of expertise, Sue ensures that her clients receive the most up-to-date and effective techniques available., Sue is always on the latest workshops updating her Pilates knowledge to keep ensuring her classes are fun , varied and effective.

 

Sue is an extremely motivating and supportive instructor. She will encourage you every step of the way to improve your health and wellness.
